REMEMBRANCE WEEK
This Wednesday, we remember the men and women who gave their lives in the two World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
11 November is known as Armistice Day, Remembrance Day or Poppy Day.
From 2014 until 2018, this day takes on added significance as it marks the centenary of the First World War years. This is why the selection of books presented today all relate to this period of History.
We have non fiction books of course ...
but we also have fiction books to give a more personal idea
of what people experienced during these very difficult days.
